Lowest Fee Crypto Exchanges In Dubai: A 2026 Comparison Of Trading Costs
MEXC ranks first here as a global fee benchmark because eligible USDC and selected Spot pairs can trade at 0% maker and 0% taker under its ongoing campaign.
Among the VARA-licensed platforms compared, Flipster publishes the lowest basic Spot trading fee at 0.05% under its taker-fee model. Binance starts at 0.10% maker/taker, while OKX's regular standard tier is 0.08% maker and 0.10% taker. The cheapest platform in practice depends on the pair, order type, spread and account tier.

Fees vary by pair, region, account level and promotion. The table uses published entry-level or relevant standard rates rather than sign-up bonuses.
This is a fee-first editorial comparison, not a mathematical score. We looked first at standard Spot commissions, then at pair-specific pricing, spreads and liquidity, VIP requirements, withdrawals and derivatives funding where relevant.
Effective trading cost = trading fee + spread/slippage + funding or on-ramp cost + withdrawal cost + derivatives funding payments, where applicable.
Because AED funding costs are not published consistently across all six platforms, they do not determine the ranking. Users should compare the funding methods shown in their own Dubai account.
MEXC sets the fee benchmark here. Its standard spot schedule charges makers nothing and takers 0.05%, and the exchange lists more than 3,000 tokens, so the low rate matters most to altcoin traders who rotate positions often. MEXC has also extended 0% maker and taker pricing across its spot pairs through a campaign that excludes API users; that promotion does not factor into the ranking.
Automated traders face a separate schedule. From June 1, 2026, MEXC raised API futures fees to 0.06% maker and 0.08% taker, and these rates take precedence over web and app pricing, including zero-fee events and MX discounts. A bot modelled on app rates would understate its costs.
Binance regular users pay 0.10% maker and 0.10% taker on standard Spot trades. Paying eligible fees with BNB reduces them by 25%, taking a 0.10% fee to 0.075%.
Dubai users should separate Spot access from leveraged products. Binance FZE's VARA licence permits margin and VA derivatives trading only for Institutional and Qualified Investors.
OKX's regular standard Spot tier introduced in August 2026 is 0.08% maker and 0.10% taker, making its fee advantage most relevant to passive limit orders.
Some pairs use separate pricing. From September 1, 2026, USDT/USD, USDG/USDT and RLUSD/USDT use 0% maker and 0.05% taker pricing in the UAE. This is why users should check pair-level fees rather than assume one platform-wide rate.
Flipster charges basic non-VIP users a 0.05% fee on Spot trades under a taker-fee model. Its documentation does not present this as a conventional 0.05% maker / 0.05% taker schedule.
Its distinguishing feature for Dubai users is straightforward pricing combined with an active VARA Exchange Services licence issued in July 2026. Its smaller market footprint means users should still check whether the assets they want are available.
Gate Technology FZE publishes a Dubai-specific VIP0 Spot rate of 0.10% maker and 0.10% taker on gate.ae, with lower rates at higher volume tiers.
The important distinction is that Gate Dubai operates through a local regulated entity. Users should verify local asset availability rather than assuming every market or promotion on Gate's global platform also applies in Dubai.
At Level 1, for users below $10,000 in 30-day Spot volume and without a qualifying CRO balance, the Crypto.com Exchange fee is 0.25% maker and 0.50% taker. Rates fall at higher volume and CRO tiers.
The Exchange and consumer App should not be treated as the same pricing surface. The Exchange uses an order book and maker/taker fees, while App purchases can use quoted pricing. Crypto.com's Dubai entity, Foris DAX Middle East FZE, holds an active VARA licence.

The difference between 0.05% and 0.10% is only $10 in this example. An extra 0.05% of spread or slippage on each side can erase that saving, so posted commission should not be judged in isolation.
Use limit orders when appropriate, especially where maker fees are lower. Compare the actual AED funding methods available in your account rather than assuming local transfers are free. Check withdrawal networks before moving crypto. Use token-based discounts only when holding the token makes sense independently. For perpetual futures, include funding payments as well as maker/taker fees. Re-check the live fee page before trading because regional rates, pair groups and promotions can change.
The lowest posted commission is not always the lowest total trading cost. MEXC remains a global fee benchmark but is not a VARA-licensed Dubai option, while Flipster has the lowest basic published Spot fee among the VARA-licensed platforms compared. Check both the live fee schedule and current VARA status before choosing an exchange.
