The 7 Sopranos is the brainchild of acclaimed soprano Tarita Botsman. They will perform three times a day from 2-11 January with each show lasting 30 minutes.

Valeriy Shotayevich Meladze is a Russian singer, with a Georgian descent who has been in the music insudstry since the mid 90's. He works with his brother Konstantine Meladze who is a producer and composer and also writes songs for Valeriy. Valeriy Meladze is a meritorious artist of Russia as well as the People's artist of Chechnya and together with his brother founded the Ukranian-Russian pop group known as Nu Virgos which has also seen considerable success nation-wide.
Ballet Gala - Performed by Soloists from the Paris Opera

The Madinat Theatre brings in the New Year with an elegant performance from the Paris Opera Ballet. Considered as one of the world's best opera companies, The Paris Opera Ballet have performed the great classics of old times and also worked on award-winning contemporary pieces and are now coming to Dubai for their inaugural show at the Madinat Theatre. The first show is a VIP only, black tie event while the remaining shows are at 8pm Friday the 10th and 2pm and 7pm on Saturday the 11th. Alice in Wonderland Tea Party

This Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF), visiting Deira & Mirdif City Centre will take children on a whimsical journey down the rabbit hole, and into the fantasy world of 'Alice in Wonderland'. For the first time in the region, Alice and her peculiar friends including The ‘Mad’ Hatter, The Cheshire Cat and the Queen of Hearts will bring their Tea Party to City Centre malls, with interactive musical stage shows that will capture the hearts and imaginations of children.
The journey to Wonderland starts on January 9th – 18th at Mirdif City Centre as Alice in Wonderland’s Tea Party takes the stage for 10 days of music, dance and endless fun with three, 20-minute shows daily. The Central Galleria will transform into a fairy tale-like setting, befit for even the Queen of Hearts, as Alice and her band of friends stumble across adventure at their tea party. Following 10 days of ‘Hatter Madness’ at Mirdif City Centre, Alice in Wonderland''s adventures will travel to Deira City Centre from January 21st-30th for 10 more days at the West Court, with two shows daily and additional interactive elements such as character Meet & Greets, themed Arts & Crafts and Games. Finally, a number of lucky children will be special guests at an exclusive Tea Party, complete with sing-a-long shows, games and treats for kids and parents.
Shaabiat Al Cartoon Show

The animated series Shaabiat Al Cartoon has attracted a lot of fans, and with good reason. The popularity of the programme, screened nightly on Dubai's youth-oriented Sama Dubai channel, has overtaken big-budget drama serials to become one of the most-watched Emirati productions since its television debut in 2006. Shaabiat, a word that means "rural neighbourhood" in Arabic, follows the lives of a group of families and individuals living in a small Dubai neighbourhood. There are 24 characters from countries throughout Africa, the Middle East and the Indian subcontinent.

DSF Music Nights with Mohammed Abdo
