Noor Bank, a Sharia-compliant bank, has joined public and private sector organisations in supporting the "International Day Against Drug Abuse" campaign, which is being hosted by the General Directorate for Drug Control of the Dubai Police.
The three-day campaign, which is being held at the Dubai Mall, aims to raise awareness about the major social challenges caused by illicit drugs. As part of the campaign, the mall’s visitors will be encouraged to participate in a range of workshops and seminars, to promote awareness of the adverse effects of drugs.
Sami Al Awadi, Chief Compliance Officer and Head of Government Relations at Noor Bank, received a memento from Major General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of the Dubai Police.
Brigadier Eid Mohammed Thani Hareb, Director of the General Department of Anti-Narcotics, Major General Khalil Ibrahim Al Mansouri, Assistant Commander-in-Chief for Criminal Investigation Affairs, and Colonel Khalid Ali Muwaiza, Deputy Director of the General Department of Anti-Narcotics, were also present at the ceremony.
