Mr. G. Lubbe, a 51-year-old South African from Johannesburg won US$1 million in Dubai Duty Free Millennium Millionaire promotion in Series 274 with ticket no. 2166 at the draw held today  (Tuesday) in Concourse B - Terminal 3.

A regular participant to US$1 million promotion for the last two years, Mr Lubbe purchased his winning ticket online on 10th May. He was understandably speechless and couldn’t believe his luck upon hearing the news on the phone and said: “I have always hope to win and I am thankful for this opportunity given by Dubai Duty Free, and for my lucky numbers that brought me this great fortune”.

Mr. Lubbe who runs his own IT business also works for Traxys, a leading physical commodity trader and merchant in the metals and natural resources sectors,  is the 4th  South African national to win a million dollars since its inception in 1999.
