Dubai Real Estate Institute (DREI), the educational arm of Dubai Land Department (DLD), has announced plans to expand its training activities in the region with the aim of disseminating real estate knowledge more widely. A delegation from DREI visited Kuwait to discuss cooperation and strategic partnerships, strengthen relations, and develop a regulatory framework and real estate training programmes.
Kuwait was the first stop for DREI's officials on their mission to enhance real estate capabilities and expertise throughout the Middle East and North Africa. During the visit, they attended a number of meetings with Kuwaiti entities that will cooperate with DREI to organise courses.
Mahmoud El Burai, CEO of DREI, commented: "We look forward to partnering with a number of real estate training providers in Kuwait and other countries to discuss the role that DREI can play in improving real estate knowledge beyond the UAE. Through this cooperation, we will develop comprehensive training and educational solutions, and also provide accreditation to participants who attend the courses. We aim to enhance their professional capabilities and equip them to contribute to the development of their local markets, while also allowing them to keep pace with the booming real estate market and fulfill the need for qualified local cadres."
DREI's plan reflects the current situation in foreign real estate markets and their potential future growth prospects. The institute has the capacity to provide the skills these markets require, with the presence of ideal partners that can establish training activities in the target countries.
DREI provides these entities with valuable training opportunities based on their experience in the field, and builds a long-term system that will benefit those markets in the future, providing training opportunities based on best practices and opening up development opportunities to meet market needs.
The visit, which will later take place in Jordan and Egypt, aims to establish partnerships to set new training markets and help DREI to spread real estate knowledge, enhance its position, and consolidate its position as the region's premier destination for real estate training.
DREI's delegation was received by the Director General of the Kuwait Municipality, the President of the Real Estate Brokers Association, the President of the Real Estate Association, and a number of private real estate companies.
