The future of aviation business in the Middle East has never looked brighter according to a report published on Forbes Middle East last January. According to the report, the International Air Transport Association (IATA) has announced that the Middle East witnesses the strongest air traffic rate in the world for the fifth consecutive year.

During the last decade, the region rose as a prominent international destination for having fun and doing business. The region saw the rise up of many investment and recreational hubs like Dubai, Istanbul, Cairo, and Jeddah. Due to this increasing momentum, Middle East air carriers, either private or public owned ones, have developed their means to integrate the latest technologies on the aviation field. For example, top GCC companies like Etihad, Emirates, and Qatar Airways have made orders for around 200 Boeing 777X crafts which are fuel efficient. This took place during Dubai Airshow held yesteryear.

Thanks to these endeavours, today’s quality of flights are amusingly higher than before. Now most Middle East flights offer WiFi connectivity to all passengers with a high bandwidth, which raised all passengers’ expectations.

During Dubai Airshow last year, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between between Honeywell and Mubadala to collaborate on local manufacturing and sort out the capabilities to produce aircraft components and management systems.
