Dubai Municipality has become the first department to publish its strategic plan in Braille language. 

Ibrahim Yaqoub, Director of Strategy and Corporate Excellence Department at Dubai Municipality, said that the Municipality is launching its Strategic Plan 2016-2021 in Braille. 

"We will be the first department to reach its strategic plan and explain its themes to the People of Determination with visual disabilities. We believe in the principle of their equality with others within Dubai Municipality’s 2020 strategy to take care of the People of Determination," 

he said. 

Yaqoub said the move is in line with the directives of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council, to support the People of Determination and provide them with a decent life, so that Dubai becomes a friendly city for the People of Determination by 2020.
