Palazzo Versace Dubai has entered into a partnership with Dubai Cares, part of Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives, as part of the hotel’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) programme ‘Palazzo Versace Engage’. An official signing ceremony was held at Palazzo Versace on Wednesday, June 7th, in the presence of Tariq Al Gurg, Chief Executive Officer of Dubai Cares, and Raza Jafar, Chairman of Palazzo Versace.
Under the terms of the partnership, Palazzo Versace Dubai will introduce an initiative whereby guests will be invited to contribute towards the initiative by making a nominal donation of AED 20 (USD 5.4) at the time of bill settlement. Funds raised will be directed towards supporting Dubai Cares' education programs in developing countries. Moreover, Palazzo Versace Dubai is committing to adopting a school in Nepal as part of Dubai Cares' "Adopt a School" initiative. This commitment will cover the construction of the school premises, providing book supplies, hygienic latrines and providing teacher training that will benefit 150 children and provide them the opportunity to access quality education.
