GEMS Students Excel in CBSE and ICSE Examinations
Students from GEMS CBSE and ICSE Schools in the UAE have achieved remarkable academic excellence in the 2013 - 2014 Board exam results. Today GEMS Education issued congratulations to all of the Toppers who brought laurels to their schools and themselves. GEMS CBSE schools upheld their impressive track record with an outstanding 100 % pass rate in the board exam results. Out of 1163 students who appeared for the exam, 21.6 % scored an average of 90%. A total of 69.6% per cent of the students scored above 75% and 98.3% of students scored above 60%.· Overall results: First - Anaswara Jayakumar who secured 97.6%; Second - Brinda Manavalan Devass securing 97.4% ; and Third - Saumya Gupta with 97.0% - all from Our Own English High School, Dubai.

ISC and ICSE Results
Following on from a track record built on years of outstanding results, GEMS Modern Academy has recorded a 100% per cent pass results in both the ISC and ICSE results this year. Out of the 124 students who appeared for the ISC (Grade 12) exam, 28.2% per cent of the students scored above 90% and 91% per cent of students recorded an aggregate of above 70%. The school average for the ISC batch of 2014 is 84%. Out of the 134 students who appeared for the ICSE (Grade 10) exam, 76% per cent of the students scored above 90% and 96% of students recorded an aggregate of above 70%. The school average for the ICSE batch of 2014 is 88.4%
Pooja Varyani was the school topper for the ISC examination with 97.75%. Akshay P. Kalayan topped the ICSE examination with 97.8% and 13 students scored a perfect 100 in different subjects.
