Rivers Of The World Exhibition In Dubai
Rivers of the World is being held at the Heritage House in Al Fahidi Historical Neighbourhood for the first time in Dubai, UAE from December 13 until January 31 with daily timings from 09.00 - 19.00 except on Fridays.The exhibition is the Thames Festival Trust’s flagship art and education project. The project links over 2,000 young people from around the world each year through the study of their rivers. Over the last five years, Rivers of the World has engaged over 11,500 young people internationally.
The artworks are created collaboratively by students and artists from Dubai, London (United Kingdom), Buenos Aires (Argentina), Sylhet (Bangladesh), Surakarta (Indonesia), Seoul (Korea), Derry-Londonderry (Northern Ireland) and Co. Donegal (Republic of Ireland) in 2012.
