26 October 2010. UAE stocks fell. On the Nasdaq Dubai, DP World closed unchanged, Depa rose 3.1%, and Damas fell 6.25%.Dubai Financial Market
Dubai stocks fell 0.50% to 1745 points from AED 130m worth of trading with Emaar Properties (EMAAR) the most actively traded stock, down 1.0% to 3.84 from AED 35m. Ektitab Holding (EKTTITAB) was the worst loser, down 2.3% to 0.38.
Arab International Logistics (ARMX) fell 2.3%, and the other losers were down less than 2%. Emarat Takaful Insurance (TAKAFUL-EM) was the top gainer, 5% limit up to 0.74, Emirates NBD (ENBD) rose 1.3%, and the other gainers were up less than 1% or on thin trading.
Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange
Abu Dhabi stocks fell 0.24% to 2826 points from trading worth AED 216m with Aldar Properties (ALDAR) the most actively traded stock, and also the worst of the more active losers, down 1.5% to 2.62 from AED 49m. Union National Bank (UNB) fell 1.4%, and the other losers were down less than 1% or on thin trading.
Methaq Islamic Insurance (METHAQ) was the best of the more active gainers, closing 10% limit up at 5.85. Abu Dhabi Aviation (ADAVIATION) rose 6.8%, Green Crescent Insurance (GCIC) was up 3.75%, Ras Al Khaimah Cement (RAKCC) 3.6%, and the other gainers were up less than 3% or on thin trading.
