The Dubai Gold & Jewellery Group
The Dubai Gold & Jewellery Group was established in 1996 with approximately 250 members mainly to support the first Dubai Shopping Festival. The Group has since evolved into a prestigious trade body with over 700 members aimed to promoting the Jewellery industry of Dubai both locally and internationally through its various activities. Groups member cover the entire gamut of the Jewellery industry such as manufacturing, bullion, wholesale, retail etc.As a membership organization our priority is to keep your best interest at the forefront of all our activities. We have staff dedicated to cater to member affairs.
Locally, the Group works closely with various government and private organizations to benefit to Dubai Gold & Jewellery Group (DGJG) members exclusively with activities such as the follows:

. Local exhibition opportunity in Global Village during DSF

Internationally, the Group gives its members an opportunity to exhibit their products through the Dubai Pavilion which is hosted in leading Jewellery exhibitions such as Baselworld, Hong Kong International Jewellery Fair, Hong Kong Watch & Jewellery Fair, JCK Las Vegas. The Group also organizes buyer delegation to various leading international exhibitions.
The Group also organizes the annual City of Gold Conference which has helped Dubai position itself as the Jewellery conference hub for the Middle East. The conference has also positioned itself as the "Global Jewellery Meet".
Through its tag line - Quality Jewellery at the world’s best price & various promotional activities both locally and internationally the Group has helped not only brand Dubai as the "City of Gold" but also as the "Jewellery Destination of the World". This has strengthened the image of Dubai not only in the minds of the consumers but also for Jewellery traders internationally.
Dubai Gold and Jewellery Group will hold the seventh edition of the Dubai City of Gold Conference on May 2nd, 2010 at the Almas Tower, Dubai Multi Commodities Centre Authority.
