Aquaventure at Atlantis
Aquaventure Dubai is set on 2,300 feet of beachfront, so there’s plenty of opportunity for those who wish to enjoy the seas of the Arabian Gulf. Decks and platforms are found between the thrilling rides, slides, and waterscapes that make up the adventure playground of this water park in Dubai. With nearly five million gallons of fresh water, there is something for everyone at Aquaventure Dubai.Explore a world of breathtaking water thrills at Aquaventure. Slide down the immense Ziggurat and through a shark-infested lagoon, take a river ride of over two kilometres, ride the water rapids and white water chargers. For a gentler experience, younger visitors can plunge into Splashers, a water playground for kids. It all adds up to a unique water adventure, with something new discovered at every turn.
At the heart of Aquaventure is the Ziggurat, an immense monument over thirty metres tall that launches the bold and brave down the near vertical Leap of Faith, then through a shark-filled lagoon. Visible from miles offshore, the Ziggurat is the daunting edifice that dominates Aquaventure. Its summit is the launching point to a variety of heart-pumping water slides – two of which catapult riders through a tantalising shark lagoon.
Aquaventure has its own magnificent 700-metre beach, allowing visitors to combine a day at the water park with time by the sea. Within the park itself, pool deck areas provide space to relax before setting out on the next heart-stopping aquatic adventure. Aquaventure Dubai has plenty to keep children occupied as well, with Splashers, a water playground with more subdued thrills like tipping water buckets, slides, climbing frames, and rope bridges.
There are also supervised marine adventures so children can learn about sea life and the aquatic wonderland that surrounds them.
Follow the 2.3 kilometre path of a tidal river through high intensity rapids, wave surges and waterfalls that circumnavigate a lush tropical landscape.
All guests must be at least 1.2 metres (48 inches) tall to ride the Ziggurat attractions. This includes Shark Attack, Leap of Faith, Shamal, The Plunge, The Surge, Stinger and The Falls.
