The Dubai International Art Centre (DIAC) has been incubating and nurturing art and artists in Dubai since its foundation in 1976. The DIAC’s primary goal is to promote arts in the GCC and Middle Eastern region and allow for a non-exclusive yet challenging educational environment where students of various levels and professionals alike can interact and expand their understanding and capabilities in the arts. This goal is reached not only through exhibitions, but also by offering a range of professionally taught courses year round, and giving teaching opportunities for qualified professional artists.The Dubai International Art Centre aspires to provide courses in as many mediums as possible, and with various approaches in both technique and philosophy. Diversity is encouraged, not only in regards to nationalities represented at DIAC, but also in artistic outlook and methodologies. Today DIAC is privileged to have played a key role in fostering the spirit of art while Dubai was embarking on its journey of phenomenal growth.
