The Montgomerie Dubai
Combining the course design traditions of truly great Scottish links courses, The Montgomerie Dubai is the new jewel of golf courses in the United Arab Emirates.Covering more than two hundred acres, this spectacular golf course provides the player with undulating "links land" style fairways which challenge and intrigue all levels of player. Placement of the drive to the generous fairways remains the cornerstone of any good round. The flat landing area of each fairway can be challenging to find, but in the end a rewarding adventure.
With fourteen lakes and seventy two bunkers, The Montgomerie Dubai, this first example of the association between golfing great Colin Montgomerie and Desmond Muirhead adds a distinctive variety to the golfing landscape of the region. One of the signature hole designs, the par three thirteenth, boasts the largest single green in the world. With a total area of 58,000 sq feet - the equivalent of nine greens - its island green can be played from a 360 degree teeing ground giving the advantage of a totally different golf hole each time you play.

The world-class indoor and outdoor practice facilities include a state-of-the-art swing studio, 9 hole par 3 Academy course, short game area, practice putting greens and practice fairway, all of which are fully floodlit.
A unique Distance Learning programmes allow us to continue the coaching relationship developed at The Academy by Troon Golf. We can analyse, send and receive images of your swing via the Internet, so wherever you are in the world you can continue to improve your golf game through the guidance of our world-class coaches.
Club House
Currently housed in the elegant Academy building, the clubhouse facilities provide full amenities for the visiting golfer. These amenities include locker rooms with showers and lockers; The Academy Restaurant and Bar that provides breakfast, lunch and dinner - seven days per week; a large terrace area that can cater for up to 150 people for dinner; and a golf shop that provides a wide range of merchandise to satisfy the golfers needs.
Construction on a full service clubhouse for members and visitors alike commenced late October 2003 and is due for completion and subsequent opening early 2005. The new building will feature full amenity locker rooms with saunas; an extensively appointed gymnasium with massage rooms; a restaurant that will allow seating for up to 100 people in air-conditioned comfort with extension to the alfresco ambiance of the terraces overlooking the eighteenth hole; a club bar and lounge that will cater for the visitor and member alike in a congenial atmosphere; meeting and banquet rooms catering for up to 60 people for a private dinner; and bag storage for members with a full service golf shop providing a wide range of golfing merchandise.
Location
Located across the lake from the eighteenth green, the clubhouse will provide an ideal meeting place for members and their guests alike. Additionally, the clubhouse will be a perfect setting for banquets and gatherings of all kinds such as weddings, dinner dances, and other forms of entertainment.
