The International Holy Quran Contest
This Contest has become a milestone in international Holy Quran contests worldwide.In the first day of Ramadan each year, the attention of the Islamic world turns to Dubai where a festive feast takes place and where young memorizers of the Holy Quran are officially nominated by either their respective countries or by Islamic centers to which they are associated to demonstrate their ability to memorize and recite the Holy Quran. The events of the festival are held during the period from the first until the twentieth of Ramadan each year.
The contest is held in Dubai. Consular officials of the participating countries and members of Muslim communities in the UAE show up in large numbers to encourage contestants who represent their respective countries.
The Vision The Dubai International Holy Quran Award is keen to make the international contest it organizes annually in memorizing the whole Quran as a leading and outstanding one at the level of the Islamic world.
Terms and Conditions of Acceptance Nomination applications are accepted from the official authorities with respect to all countries and Islamic communities that make such nominations; individual nomination applications are not accepted. Participants or nominations are accepted according to the following terms and conditions: The candidate should be able to memorize the Holy Book by heart.

He should be a male.
He should not be more than 21 years old.
He should have not participated in previous sessions of the Award.
The Organizing Committee of the Award shall sponsor participants and those who accompany them by issuing them with UAE entry visas, by providing them with return air tickets in addition to lodging and boarding.
One attendant is permitted to accompany a contestant who is either under (16) years old or whose medical condition requires the company of any attendant.
