Safe and Sound - Fighting Breast Cancer in the UAE
The dedicated Safe & Sound website has been developed to give year-round online support to the annual breast cancer awareness campaign created by the BurJuman in Dubai.Now in its 9th year the campaign is dedicated to educating women in the region about the disease and providing simple and practical advice on ways to combat breast cancer.
BurJuman has again won the whole-hearted support of Welcare Hospital, who will continue to be a key Safe and Sound partner this year together with EPPCO/ENOC and Kodak who is the producer of mammography films.
In addition to long-term partners, the 2006 campaign has been further strengthened by support from the Ministry of Social Affairs, TECOM (Dubai Technology, Electronic Commerce and Media Free Zone), Hertz and GEMS (Global Education Management Systems).
