Dubai Remote Work Visa; What You Need to Know

Dubai Remote Work Visa; What You Need to Know

Since the announcement of the new remote work visa offered by Dubai earlier in the year, applications have increased dramatically for those looking to spend some time working in the sun with all of the culture Dubai has to offer. There are certainly some general need to know travel guidelines as gaming options like those found at ukonlinecasinoslist.com may no longer be available to you, and some cultural differences need to be thought of too – but what do you need to keep in mind specifically for the remote work visa, and what do you need to know?

Cost & Salary requirements – To apply for the visa there is a cost associated – around $620 for a visa that is valid for one year, and the renewal fee after the first year is the same which is a relatively low cost for being able to stay for a year in the country. There is a minimum salary requirement however, as would-be visitors will need to earn at least $5,000 per month at minimum after any deductions in order to qualify – whilst that’s certainly not the amount you’ll need to live comfortably as many in the past have been able to get by on much less, it does show that you’ll be able to stay in the country throughout the year comfortably.

What other conditions need to be met – The basics still apply too, you’ll have to have a passport with at least six months of validity although it is recommended to have more as it may be something required if you’re unable to secure your second year stay, you’ll need to provide evidence that you’re covered by health insurance for a stay in the UAE, and you’ll also need proof from your employee as well as wage slips and bank statements for the same reason as above so that it can be guaranteed you’re able to stay and live comfortably whilst in Dubai.

In order to keep the visa valid, you’ll also need to be in the UAE at least once every six months otherwise the visa will no longer be valid, but you also need to be in country currently in order to be able to apply largely due to current travel restrictions – you are able to travel in as a tourist and apply in person, but this is something that may be subject to change once travel options get back to normal.

It’s certainly something exciting to give a go if you haven’t yet had the opportunity to travel and stay in Dubai, and although the requirements may seem high for some it is a very different way of life – there’s plenty of help out there in order to help ensure your visa application succeeds so what are you waiting for?
